Although his cars have been racing and winning almost everywhere for about a decade now, in the mid-1930s the manufacturer Ettore Bugatti still had not had the satisfaction of seeing one of his cars on the top step of the podium of the 24 Hours of Le Mans.

Finally, in 1937 the dream came true!
