Kit 129 - RIGHT REAR MUDGUARD

Step 1
Place the mud flap (129B) on the outside of the mudguard (129A) and secure it with an RP screw.

Step 2

Position the mud flap reinforcement (129C) into the two openings provided on the mud flap (129B). Secure the reinforcement with two UM screws from the inside of the mudguard (yellow circles).

Step 3

Position the mudguard (129A) on the right side inside the rear bonnet (121A). Align the lug located on the hood with the hole in the mudguard (red circle), then secure it with two SM screws (yellow circles). Then attach the mud flap reinforcement (129C) to the rear bonnet (121A) with two AM screws (yellow circles).

Step 1

Position the license plate (130B) on the rear bonnet (121A), below the light (123B), and secure with two QM screws.

Step 2

Position the rear bonnet (121A) by aligning the left and right hinges (96B&97B) with the rear of the central body part (93A) (red circles). Also place the pin supports in the two openings between the rear spoiler (123A) and the rear window (yellow circles). Insert an axle (130A) (from the outside to the inside) on the left hinge (96B), then the second axle (130A) on the right hinge (97B).

Step 3

Lift the rear bonnet upwards and keep it open. Connect cables H1-1, H1-2 and H1-3 on the left side. Then connect the H1-4 cable on the right side.

Attach the cables from the left side to the inner air intake (122B) using a hose tie (130K) as indicated. Then attach the same cables to the left rear upper reinforcement bar (92A) using the second cable tie (130K).

Cut off any excess from the cable ties by using a pair of scissors (yellow circles). Secure the cables on the right side (H1-4) with adhesive tape (130L) as shown in the photo.

Step 4

Insert the pins (130D) into the locking pins on the bonnet (130C). Insert the pins (130C) into the pin holders (59A&59B) using a tweezer. The pins must face inwards.

Step 5

Push the antenna support (130E) into its slot on the roof of the bodywork, then insert the antenna (130F) into its support.

Step 6

Insert the central wheel rim (130I) into the outer wheel rim (130H), ensuring that the three fixing points match (yellow circles), then secure it with three AM screws from the inside.

Immerse the tyre (130G) in lukewarm water to soften it, then dry it thoroughly before installing it, particularly on the inside.

Step 7

Position the outer wheel rim (130H) in the tyre (130G). Turn the wheel over and insert the inner wheel rim (130J), ensuring that the four assembly points correspond, then secure the assembly with four AP screws.

Step 8

Unscrew the left rear wheel VM screw (62A) and washer (63C).

Step 9

Take the new assembled wheel (130G). The part (130I) is fitted with a reference tooth (yellow circle), while on the left rear hub (45A) there is a notch of the same shape (red arrow).

Position the wheel on the hub, ensuring that the tooth engages correctly into the notch, then secure the wheel with the VM screw and washer (63C) that were previously removed.

Kit 131 - LEFT AND RIGHT WINDSCREEN WIPERS

Step 1

Take the parts (131A&131B) of the left windscreen wiper, both marked with the letter L. Remove the left wiper arm (131B) (indicated by the dotted yellow rectangle) from its sprue by using a cutter.  

Press the left wiper arm (131B) onto the wiper blade (131A).

Step 2

Take the parts (131C&131D) of the right windscreen wiper, both marked with the letter R. Remove the right wiper arm (131D) (indicated by the dotted yellow rectangle) from its sprue by using a cutter.. Press the right wiper arm (131D) onto the wiper blades (131C).

Step 3

The two windscreen wipers are now assembled. Position the wiper arms into the holes at the base of the windscreen, at the front of the central body part (93A). The left wiper (131B) should be on the driver's side and the right wiper (131D) on the passenger's side, as shown.

Step 4

Insert the central wheel rim (131G) into the outer wheel rim (131F), ensuring that the three fixing points match (yellow circles), then secure it with three AM screws on the inner side. Immerse the tyre (131E) into lukewarm water to soften it, then dry it thoroughly before installing it, particularly on the inside. 

Position the outer wheel rim (131F) in the tyre (131E). Turn the wheel over and insert the inner wheel rim (131H), ensuring that the four assembly points correspond, then secure the assembly with four AP screws.

Step 5

Remove the VM screw from the right rear wheel (65A) and the washer (66C). Take the new assembled wheel (131G). There is a reference tooth (yellow circle) on the part (131H) and a notch of the same shape (red arrow) on the right rear hub (46A).

Position the wheel on the hub, ensuring that the tooth engages correctly into the notch, then secure the wheel with the VM screw and washer (66C) that were previously removed.

Kit 132 - CAP FOR WATER TANK

Step 1

Position the cap for the water tank (132A) in the hole provided at the front of the windscreen, between the E marking and the windscreen wiper on the passenger’s side. Check the correct orientation of the marking on the cap as indicated by the red arrow.

Step 2

Position the battery switch (132B) in the hole at the front of the windscreen on the driver's side.

Step 3

The left and right turn signals (132D&132E) are fitted with a mounting pin with a different inclination to that shown in the inset detail view. Insert the indicator (132D) into the left wing mounting point and the indicator (132E) into the right wing mounting point.

Step 4

Remove the protective paper from the double-sided adhesives (132H), then apply them to the back of each ‘Tour de Corse’ rally plate (132G). Position the first plate (132G) on the front bonnet as shown. Position the second plate (132G) to the right of the rear license plate as shown.

Step 5

Remove the protective paper from the ‘Martini’ sticker (132I) and place it to the left of the rear license plate as shown.

Step 6

Soak the bonnet decals (132J) and apply the left decal to the position indicated by the yellow circle, next to the battery switch symbol. Position the second decal (132J) in the same way on the right side.

Step 7

Position the two head light shields.

Step 8

Remove the two locking pins (130C) from the rear bonnet.

Step 9

Retrieve the bonnet bar support joint (60H). Remove the bonnet retaining bar #2 (60F) and place the bar support joint (60H) at one of the ends.

Step 10

With the rear bonnet (121A) open, connect the joint (60H) to the second bonnet retaining bar #1 (60C). Lift the rear bonnet (121A) and place the bonnet retaining bar #2 (60F) on the rear grille (124A) to keep it open.

To close the rear cover, disconnect the #2 bar (60F) from the joint (60H), then bend the bar and place it in the bar holder (60B) and onto the mounting bracket (60G).

Close the rear cover (121A) and replace the two locking pins (130C).

Step 11

TESTING OF THE CAR REMOTE CONTROL FUNCTIONS (from left to right and top to bottom)

- Electric circuit on/off: press this button once the model switch is in the on position

- Volume +: raises the volume.

- Volume -: reduces the volume.

- Starter: activates the engine start-up sound for approximately 3 seconds.

- Accelerator: can be activated only after pressing the button on the ignition key, activates the accelerator sound for about 5-6 seconds, raising the engine noise.

- Claxon: activates the claxon.

- Parking lights: activates the lower front parking lights, rear parking lights, number plate illumination and interior lighting.

- Low beam lights: activates both low beam lights.

- Headlights: the two headlights only work if the low beam lights are also switched on.

- Left indicator: activates the left front and left rear turn signal lights.

- Right indicator: activates the right front and right rear turn signal lights.

- Brake/Stop lights: the rear lights will illuminate more brightly if the position lights are also switched on - as long as the button is pressed.

Step 12

Mix a little white paint (132K) with water, and stir to thinner. If necessary, retouch any areas where the white paint may have been damaged during assembly. Wait at least two hours between each coat of paint.

Step 13

Place the support posts (132F) on each side under the car.
