Le Mans - Alpine A442B - 1978

After struggling for three years in the world championship of prototype sports without achieving anything more than an illusory first success at the 1000 kilometres of Mugello in 1975, the 1978 Le Mans 24 Hours was the last chance of victory for the Renault Alpine team.

Le Mans - Ferrari 275 LM - 1965

No other Italian car has taken its crew to the highest step of the 24 Hours of Le Mans. This success, more than any other, crowned the career of the Ferrari 250 LM (or 275 LM), forced by its lack of homologation as a GT car to compete against real prototypes.

From the mechanics to the aerodynamics, this is a masterpiece to be admired and displayed!

ENGINE: Ferrari 3,286 cm3, longitudinal central rear, 12 cylinders in 60° V, single overhead camshaft with 2 valves per cylinder, fed by 6 twin Weber 38DCN carburettors, dry sump lubrication, liquid cooled, 320 bhp at 7,500 rpm.

TRANSMISSION: Rear-wheel drive, 5-speed manual gearbox + reverse gear.

CHASSIS: Tubular steel trellis frame, aluminium bodywork.

SUSPENSION: Front and rear wishbones, coil springs, telescopic shock absorbers, anti-roll bar.

BRAKES: Disc brakes on all wheels.

WHEELS: 15" spoked wheels, 5.50 x 15 tyres at front and 7.00 x 15 tyres at rear.
